As if creating a music video for S$500 isnt hard enough... They throw me another curved ball just to make life more interesting.

Shoot this music video TODAY... Just a 29 hours after briefing.... Because your band will fly out to Maldives!

Huh??? I know I could make miracles happen once in a while but this??? Whats this??? 

First thing I had to scrap were my grandiose plans of doing a "One-take-wonder in reverse"... that would have been where the camera would roll for all of 3 minutes, and the singers would lipsync in reverse. That would have been a grandmaster of a technique to do... However... the band, although very wiling to try and learn, had no time to learn the words backwords(ooops BACKWARDS).... Pun intended

So at 3am... Yes 3am... beside my trustee teammate, the loveable and adorable but emotionally non-descript Mira, I hit the jackpot.

I tried so hard to storyboard this backwards thing... to no avail! There was NO IDEA behind it... there were frills... some spills but there was nothing unifying it eexcept for the fact that things ran in reverse.... then i asked myself... WHERE IS TOUCH AND FEEL? Isnt that the brief???

Its HpSpace guys... Its not a simple Music Video making challenge... You had to make sure you answer the brief, not just make A music video. You had to address Touch and Feel. Sorry guys, its not a sellout... Its a challenge ON TOP of a challenge. It just pushes you to be more creative... how do you hit Two birds with one stone?

How?

at 3am, there I was.... I asked myself who this prom queen was... the seeming protagonist or object of desire... AHA!!! A Prom Queen with a flaw (so the universe whispered in my sleepy gaze)

THE PROM QUEEN WHO COULDNT TOUCH NOR FEEL because she had the Midas Touch... People dont into gold... But their worlds ran around in reverse... They lived in their own world... Much like having your own touchsmart... you touch it and you'd be in your own world, surfing the net watching videos or whatever...

Now, that's a big idea.

On that note, me and Mira went to bed... In separate rooms, in separate floors. hahaha :)
